General Terms and Conditions
Stand: July 21, 2026
These General Terms and Conditions ("T&Cs") govern the contractual relationship between [Operating Company] ("EXFIELD", "we") and the members ("you", "member") with regard to admission to the EXFIELD Members Club, use of the platform, the Steel Card and the booked subscription plans.
§ 1Contracting Party and Scope
The contracting party is the operating company named in the Legal Notice. These T&Cs apply to all applications, memberships, Steel Card orders and to all services booked via the platform (Events, Introductions, Postings, Intelligence and others).
§ 2Application and Admission
- Membership in EXFIELD is open exclusively to carefully vetted entrepreneurs, investors and executives and is limited in number.
- Applications are submitted via the online form. EXFIELD conducts an internal background and reputation check. There is no entitlement to admission.
- The membership contract is only concluded upon express written or electronic confirmation of admission by the Admissions Committee.
- EXFIELD may reject applications without stating reasons. Any review fees already paid — where charged — will not be refunded.
§ 3Membership Fees and Term
- After admission, the member chooses between a monthly subscription (EUR 95/month) or an annual subscription (EUR 1,000/year). All prices include statutory VAT where applicable.
- The term begins with the activation of the account. The monthly subscription renews monthly, the annual subscription renews annually, unless cancelled with 14 days' notice to the end of the term.
- Cancellation must be made in text form via email to [membership@exfield.club] or via the corresponding function in the members' area.
§ 4Steel Card
- The EXFIELD Steel Card is an optional, personalised physical product made of brushed stainless steel with an NFC chip. The purchase price is a one-time EUR 500 including shipping.
- After ordering, the card is shipped from Zurich within approximately 10 working days. Delivery times are non-binding unless expressly guaranteed otherwise.
- Because the card is individually engraved with name, company and member number, the statutory right of withdrawal for goods produced to customer specifications pursuant to § 312g (2) no. 1 of the German Civil Code (BGB) is excluded.
- The card remains the property of EXFIELD until full payment of the purchase price is received. Upon termination of membership, the NFC chip is deactivated server-side.
§ 5Payment Terms
Payments are processed via the payment service provider offered on the platform [Stripe / Paddle]. In the event of payment default, EXFIELD is entitled to temporarily suspend access to the platform after prior notice.
§ 6Right of Withdrawal for Consumers
To the extent that the contract is concluded with a consumer within the meaning of § 13 BGB, the consumer has a right of withdrawal of 14 days from conclusion of the contract. Excluded are personalised goods (see § 4 (3)) as well as digital services already fully rendered whose performance began before the end of the withdrawal period with the express consent of the member. Withdrawal notices should be addressed to: [email address].
§ 7Rules of Conduct
Members undertake to act with discretion and professionalism and to comply with the EXFIELD Code of Conduct. In the event of serious violations — in particular the disclosure of confidential information, harassment or unlawful behaviour — membership may be terminated without notice. Fees already paid will not be refunded pro-rata for unused periods.
§ 8Liability
EXFIELD is liable without limitation in cases of intent and gross negligence as well as for damages arising from injury to life, body or health. Otherwise, liability is limited to the damage typically foreseeable under the contract. EXFIELD assumes no liability for the content, recommendations and actions of other members.
§ 9Final Provisions
The law of [Switzerland / Federal Republic of Germany] applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Place of jurisdiction — to the extent legally permissible — is [Zurich]. Should any provision of these T&Cs be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
